SOLA is an academic relay race organized by the Academic Sports Association Zurich that takes participants through the city of Zurich and over the surrounding hills at the northern end of Lake Zurich.

Teams of 14 runners cover a total distance of 113 km, with individual sections ranging from 3.6 to 14 km across varying terrain and elevation. BCG has a long-standing SOLA tradition, with the relay race followed by a convivial dinner bringing participants together. After a one-year hiatus, the legend was brought back to life on May 16 by three teams comprising alumni, employees, and friends and spanning every cohort from BST to CEO.

Every runner who laced up and gave it their all deserves a huge round of applause! After the race, BCG alumni and staff gathered for their traditional dinner and a wonderful evening of shared stories and new connections across generations of BCGers.
